California Gov. Gavin Newsom,slammed President Donald Trump's administration for what he said was a reversal of civil rights and called on Democrats in the Palmetto State to vote in the midterms.

The governor's comments came in a speech that could be perceived as an early draft of a "stump speech" for the rumored 2028 presidential hopeful.

"No more lies," Newsom wrote on social media.
